Refund Policies

If consultations are cancelled or rescheduled with more than 48 hours? notice before your scheduled appointment, you will not be charged. If cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours? notice, you will be charged in full for the consultation. In the event that the donor withdraws during the donor screening and assessment phase (or is not deemed medically suitable), we will continue to search for another Suitable Egg Donor Candidate for another 6 months or the period specified in clause 4.2.3, whichever is longer, at no additional cost. If you choose to withdraw from services at this stage, or if we do not offer you a Suitable Egg Donor Candidate within this specified time period, you will be entitled to a refund of £9250.

If donor cycle is abandoned before egg collection refund due = £2550.

If recipient embryo transfer cycle is abandoned after day 10 scan and before Embryo Transfer refund due = £1600.

If recipient embryo transfer cycle is abandoned after starting progesterone support medication refund due = £540.

We reserve the right to terminate the Services at any time and for any reason. In such a situation, fees will be refunded based on the number of whole months of the twelve-month contract left to run at the time of the termination.

A Suitable Egg Donor Candidate is a person who meets the guidelines issued by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) as far as we can ascertain, whom Apricity has assessed on the basis of age, BMI, AMH and family medical history only, and whom Apricity reasonably believes is a reasonable match to the client?s Minimum Specified Requirements for a Suitable Egg Donor Candidate. ?Minimum Specified Requirements for a Suitable Egg Donor Candidate? means the following physical characteristics as specified by the Client; eye colour, hair colour, ethnicity, and height within 10cm. The client may decline any Suitable Egg Donor Candidate suggested by Apricity however the Egg Donor Recruitment Services will be complete, and no refund will be due as we have provided a Suitable Egg Donor Candidate to the client in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. We will however continue to assist you to endeavour to find other Suitable Egg Donor Candidates for the remaining period specified in Terms and Conditions for no additional fee.

The patient can choose to decline, in which case the eggs collected are banked in Apricity's Egg Bank and we will continue to search for another Suitable Egg Donor Candidate for another 6 months or the period specified in clause 4.2.3, whichever is longer, at no additional cost. If we do not offer you a Suitable Egg Donor Candidate within this specified time period, you will be entitled to a refund of your paid treatment fee. However if you choose to withdraw from services at this stage and not opt for a rematch, you will be entitled to a refund of £2,200.

If less than 9 eggs are collected, we will continue to search for another Suitable Egg Donor Candidate for another 6 months or the period specified in clause 4.2.3, whichever is longer, at no additional cost. If we do not offer you a Suitable Egg Donor Candidate within this specified time period, you will be entitled to a refund of your paid treatment fee. However if you choose to withdraw from services at this stage and not opt for a rematch, you will be entitled to a refund of £2,200.

If 4-7 eggs only are collected, the option to pursue with the donor is offered at a discount of £1,000 per missing egg (£3,000 discount if 5 eggs, £2,000 if 6 eggs, and £1,000 if 7 eggs). The patient can choose to decline, in which case the eggs collected are banked in Apricity's Egg Bank and we will continue to search for another Suitable Egg Donor Candidate for another 6 months or the period specified in clause 4.2.3, whichever is longer, at no additional cost. If we do not offer you a Suitable Egg Donor Candidate within this specified time period, you will be entitled to a refund of your paid treatment fee.

However if you choose to withdraw from services at this stage and not opt for a rematch, you will be entitled to a refund of £1,600. If we do not offer you a Suitable Egg Donor Candidate within this specified time period, you will be entitled to a refund of your paid treatment fee. However if you choose to withdraw from services at this stage and not opt for a rematch, you will be entitled to a refund of £1,600.

If we do not offer you a Suitable Egg Donor Candidate within this specified time period, you will be entitled to a refund of your paid treatment fee. However if you choose to withdraw from services at this stage and not opt for a rematch, you will be entitled to a refund of £1,600.

If you change your mind within 48 hours of registering, provided we have not carried out an initial consultation, your registration will be cancelled and you will be fully refunded. Once 48 hours have passed and the Egg Donation team have begun the programme, the fee is non-refundable, except the cases below. If by the first anniversary of your registration the Egg Donation team has not been able to offer you one Suitable Egg Donor Candidate (as defined in the Terms and Conditions) for your consideration, then you will be entitled to a refund of the initial fee. If we have offered 4 Suitable Egg Donor Candidates and you have chosen not to accept any offers, your agreement for Egg Donor Recruitment and Matching Services will be terminated and no refund will be due. If first cycle is abandoned after egg collection but before embryos are frozen (in the event of no suitable embryos for freezing) the package is cancelled and refund due = £7,577.

Alternatively, if your 1st cycle is cancelled before egg collection, and you wish to proceed to your next cycle, refund due = £2,100.

If your 1st cycle is abandoned after egg collection but before embryos are frozen (in the event of no suitable embryos for freezing) and you wish to proceed to your next cycle, refund due = £1,500

If first cycle is complete and second cycle is abandoned before second egg collection, the package is cancelled and refund due = £2,100.

If first cycle is complete and second cycle is abandoned after second egg collection but before embryos are frozen (in the event of no suitable embryos for freezing from second cycle) the package is cancelled and refund due = £1,500.

Alternatively , If your 1st cycle is cancelled before egg collection, and you wish to proceed to your next cycle, refund due = £2100.

If your 1st of 2nd cycle is abandoned after egg collection but before embryos are frozen (in the event of no suitable embryos for freezing) and you wish to proceed to your next cycle, refund due = £1,100

If first cycle is complete and second cycle is abandoned before second egg collection, the package is cancelled and refund due = £7,778.

If first cycle is complete and second cycle is abandoned after second egg collection but before embryos are frozen (in the event of no suitable embryos for freezing from second cycle) the package is cancelled and refund due = £7,178.

Alternatively , If your 2nd cycle is cancelled before egg collection, and you wish to proceed to your next cycle, refund due = £2,100.

If your 2nd cycle is abandoned after egg collection but before embryos are frozen (in the event of no suitable embryos for freezing) and you wish to proceed to your next cycle, refund due = £1,100

If second cycle is complete and third cycle is abandoned before third egg collection, the package is cancelled and refund due = £2,100.

If second cycle is complete and third cycle is abandoned after third egg collection but before embryos are frozen (in the event of no suitable embryos for freezing from third cycle) the package is cancelled and refund due = £1,100.

CONSULTATIONS:

If cycle is abandoned before insemination refund due = £400

CONSULTATIONS: If cancelled or rescheduled with more than 48 hours notice before your scheduled appointment, you will not be charged. If cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged in full for the consultation.

If cycle is abandoned before any insemination, an additional charge of £525 will be raised to cover the scans and care. Price paid will be carried across to next treatment cycle.

In addition, if ICSI does not take place, an additional £1360 refund is due.
